I didn't want to reply to your post in that other forum...didn't seem right! But, I did want to congratulate you on your son's scholastic achievement! You must be sooo proud! I have two kids starting college next year, my son Matt, my son Mike, and the year after my other son Kevin starts. So, I can appreciate how FINANCIALLY significant that is, on the other hand, your son's academic ACHIEVEMENT is phenomenal!!

AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS!

Oh...Ya !! We're real "high" here, tonight! Went out for early dinner and a couple of Scotch(s) :) and very, very proud. He's a great kid, and super honest & hard working, and always smiling and thoughful. We worked hard on him, trust me.

I never had the ambition to do that well in school. Keeping it above about 3.2-3.3 and still having time to drink with my buddies was more fun.

Neither did I or Karen. We were both "C" students ... like 2.3 to 2.5 but Matt's biggest desire in the world is to be rich, I mean...really, really rich. He has told me many times he will do it and he will do it honestly and never ever dip below that which is correct & honest. He reads up a storm and knows something about everything. He wants to be a CPA with a financial institution for a while, and then go out on his own as a financial consultant to industry. He just returned from a meeting in Virginia of "Movers & Shakers" within the Universities of America.

That's the date I past THAT fine line, you speak of :)

{I don't wanna tell you the car Matt wants} ~ but he changes once in a while, so there IS hope! (It represents a classic case of "Poor Parenting") :(
