At 5250 rpm, both torque and HP are equally important.
I was referring to vehicle speed(top end faster/low end slower speed).
Are you kidding? The Aviator has way more horsepower and torque than a Mark VIII engine.
I didn't say the M8 engine has more HP, I said that the M8 engine will perform BETTER at higher speeds with more HP and LESS torque where the Aviator motor has more torque and "less" HP. Not comparing specs, just stating that a vehicle with high HP numbers/low torque(M8) will perform better at higher speeds, and a vehicle with high torque numbers/low hp(Aviator) will perform better at low speeds.
A bone stock Mark VIII with stock everything except Aviator motor will put down 270rwhp.
No matter what car the Aviator is in, its not going to put down 270 at the wheels stock, expecially if its ONLY 300hp at the engine.
So by saying the M8 has more HP is like saying the M8 has more power than a Cobra from 03/04....
No no no....I just read what I wrote, and its confusing.
All in all....the Aviator has MORE torque than the M8 so it will help get the beast moving FASTER than the M8 engine, but when it comes to "pull" at 70mph, the M8 engine with the more HP will be better.
the M8 engine with more HP(VS TORQUE) will be better
As Per Wikipedia

Look at those torque numbers.
