On Easter Sunday I was going up hill about 8 miles when I first got the "Low Coolant Level" alert. I looked and it had blowen out the cap. By the guage it never over heated. I went to the nearest Autozone and purchased a new cap, refilled it through the cross over cap and all was good for about 250 miles when it did it again (not uphill). I thought I just purchased a bad cap, so I bought another. replaced the cap, refilled it at the crossover tube and checked it after around 70 miles of hiway driving. All was good until today when it did it again. There is still pressure in the system, but it takes about 3/4 gallon to refill. It never heats up by the guage.
What could be causing this????
