Ok, I have the coilspring. Ive never done coil springs and always wondered what side would be better facing up. Directions only mention to have the pigtails at end of spring match twords rear of car. I need to know what side should go up on the spring. Tight windings on top or bottom? I would think that the tight windings should go to the bottom or closest to the ground sitting in lower controll arm tray. Because the tighter windings will move last under full compression compared to the rest of the spring.
The windings are pretty much evenly spaced along the leangth of the spring except at the top where the windings get tigther and closer to each other.
1. Do i want to have the tight windings on top twords bottom of car with the evenly spaced farther apart ones at bottom?
2. Or do i want the tight windings on the bottom with the evenly spaced further ones apart at the top?
3. Am i being to anal about this? Just put the springs in and make sure the pigtails match to the rear of the car to make the car sit even.
Going on lunch now. Be back in a few to check this thread....
