Cr..Crui...Cruise.. Cruise Control and 4.10s

My cruise control will snap your neck since the mods. Setting it at any speed will cause the car to lurch and buck. It's undriveable on cruise the way it is.

My shop is telling me it's the 4.10 gears that are causing it.. I know many of you have 4.10s. Do you have the same problem?

I don't think they did.. thought that was taken care of in the tune..

my 3.90 and 3.73 never caused any issues with the cruise. And my speedo gear wasn't changed.

yes but some claim it is still necessary to change the speedo gear. I am not sure why. I never had any kind of discrepencies or transmission shifting issues due to the higher gears.

I bet its the pick-up on the transmission....it controls the shift schedule and its probably all farkled up. The tune should have helped/taken care of this.
