Just wanted to get an idea of how many modified continentals are at LOD events. I am in iraq right now and as long as i make it back to the states and stay there next summer i plan to make a 40 min trip to All Ford Nationals, in Carlisle PA. I would like to get an idea of what i would be seeing, I am going for a sport look with my car, please let me know what you think of it if you look at my car domain. they are old pics. i will have new pics in september when i install all my parts i have ordered while deployed.

IIRC, the numero uno 'other Lincoln'(read that as NOT Mark VII or Mark VIII), was an older restored/modified Continental.

Continentals usually are not modded in any great numbers. It would be cool to see more.

40 minutes!? If I were that close my wife would have to put a leash on me! LOL. :7

Yes it would, I will have another Mark VIII sometime in the future. My two growing kids made the 2 long doors turn into 4 short ones!!

I actually like having the four doors myself once i get out of the corps i plan to get a second gen mark hopefully the same color or the torredor red, i dunno how to spell it:+ but i want to pull its engine and maybe a turbo, i dont know i like things that are different so a performance conti is definitely that but so is just a performance mark, oh well i still got plenty of time to decide.
