Yes some of you know I have been working on a MAF adapter. Its done and you can tell the diff. Faster, smoother at WOT and also louder. pics are soon to be up
why did you need to make one when they already have kits that are cheap and work fine. it is ok to make stuff you self it is always give more satifaction when you make it your self and it come out great.
I just bought an 02 GT airbox and intake tube off someone cheap. A few minutes with a hacksaw and some epoxy putty, and i had me a cone filter. Paper, too, none of that K&N non-filtration crap.
So that thing is a "velocity stack" that would attach to the MAF sensor? Wouldn't any velocity that that would add, be negated by the rest of the intake tube and the intake design?
Cool stabilizer. Ok I will get some pics soon. I would have them but Im saving my money. Got to buy an LMS chip. Anyways does the stock air box already have a Stabilizer. I think it would work good with the after market goodies.
there are a couple companies out there that have similar volocity stackes. they work well that is why the pro-m's come with them. you should be able to bolt on a K&N and put one on with your stock mass air and pick up 10 hp or so at the wheels. a pro-m will make usally between 10 and 20 at the wheels depending on what it has done to it.
