Anyone know why Lincoln would showcase an old conti vert at the Detroit Auto Show?

Good question.

At first I thought it might be that car that President Kennedy was shot in. But it's not, I've seen that car a few times here, at the Henry Ford museum.

That is a very cool car though, I've always wanted one like that. I'd hate to work on the engine though, it has a very small hood.

It's hard to believe, but it's a unibody just like the Mark VIII.

I drove one back in the early 60's (hard top) and it was a hoot. You could triple date in it as the interior was so spacious.

I always wanted one, but the prices have skyrocketed in the last 10 years, so I think ill just stick to my mark.
