HI
I am installing my HID right now.
I was pulling out the air pump for the air ride.
I do not have the air ride.
Do I need the two boxes on the air pump bracket?

The box to the left is the muffler for the compressor. The one to the right, I think its part of the gas evap system?????

Yes....you need that canistor with the vacuum lines to it, AND that solenoid in-line on the vacuum line.

And from the looks of your tires, you could use 4 of those also! :)

Since we're talking about the tires, you can see that at least one of two things are happening:

1. He needs an alignment, or
2. He flies through turns, or
3. Both.

I use to grind the shoulders down on my 85 TBird - taking corners way too fast.

4: donuts

We've been telling him to get tires.
The track announcer even pointed out his tires a couple of weeks ago.

Would would he "preheat" the front tires?! Unless he had a rotation done, but that is NOT typical rear tire wear, I have had my front wear like that all the time.

Aggressive driving, oversteering at low speeds allowing the car to "push" the tires in parking lots and generally abusing the tires will cause that.

Sliding thru parking lots doing Donuts...which goes along with overly-aggressive driving.

Glenn is not his tires "Best friend"...HAHA

Funny :)

One rainy night, I was leaving a parking lot getting on a 3 lane one way street.Went WOT and the car would not turn on the street.
That was fun.

that is "push" brought on by the over aggressive driving habits.

The only way I can describe it is... DRIVE the car MORE, turn the wheel LESS.

You pitch big blue around pretty hard...HAHA

Even with burnouts, I'm much easier on tires today than back in my younger days. I think I set the record in one night with 3 flat tires from breaking the bead from the rims.

'Course that was before ABS, traction control, electronic stability control and...

common sense.

Same here, in my lightweight mustsnag I went thru tires like candy.
Now, I race my car 10 times more than I did the mustnag and I get 50K out of my rear tires.

Of course, I dont do John Force burnouts either.
