Does this belong to someone here?

I'm not a fan of anything but stock tips on a gen 2 really, they just don't fit the cutout well.

I agree...

I left a message for the guy, and then he left a message for me...

We'll see how tomorrows game of phone tag goes...

I fear the interior is tan...

Def a tan interior, you can see it in the picture from the rear of the car. The shelf below the rear window is light colored, looks like tan.

i'm not a fan of any tips except stock either, but if you heard mine and saw what it looks like under the car, i dont care at all that they are round!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jamie, you have so many parts available, you could remove those and weld on the standard oval tips, no problem. And I doubt it would alter the sound.

Resonator tips DO alter the sound.

OOPS....didn't realize those were resonators.......Thought they were just tips from the muff to the back like my stock Gen II LSC.

LOL, I don't know if they are or not, I was just saying that there are exhaust tips that do change the exhaust tone.

Not usually. More of a tonal change. Like changing an octave or two.

Well now you're speaking my language... and even a single octave would be a BIG difference... Did you mean more of a timbre change? Like a sharp or edgy sound vs a round or flat sound?

Even with the oval factory tips, the pipe leading into them is still round...

I'd love to hear what the difference of just tips sounds like... :D

LOL, I thought that might get your attention. :D

OK, I'll downgrade it to a 'timbre' change - even though I don't know what that is.

I don't know how much of a change it could be for a car like the Mark VIII with the mufflers mounted so rearward. It makes a more pronounced change on cars with mufflers further back under the car and long tailpipes.

A regular tip is just a shiny pipe. The dual-wall tips like those on the Gen2s probably do little if any change. But a 'resonator tip' is almost built like a muffler with a inner tube and an outer pipe. Usually the inner tube is perforated or louvered and there is a airspace between the two pipes which may or may not be glass packed.
