Dont think these would fit, do you?

Check these out: http://www.thecustomwheelshop.com/cart/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5 . They would look great but they are 18x9.5" wide with a 32mm offset. You would at least need a 255-275 width tire. I cant see how they would fit without rubbing. I'm looking for wheels for the '95 and this place has a good selection of Mark VIII wheels. I'll probably go for the 17x9 chrome '03 Cobra wheels. I wish they had them in a satin finish rather than chrome.

Taking in consideration the width, height and offset, they won't fit. But the actual style of rim will fit.

Lots of misinformation here. The wheels themselves will bolt up and clear spindles and shocks/sway bar without any issues.

Now whether the tires will rub or not that's a different story. That company will tell you that there is no rubbing issues but in their opinion 255 wide tire is the correct tire for 9.5" wheel. You don't buy 9"+ wheel to run skinnies. Total BS if you ask me. 275 tire will rub in the rear on the quarter lip. Fender roll and stiff shock in the back will minize this, but if you see this as a potential problem, stay away from these and any other 9" wide wheels and fat tires. 245 is not the correct tire for 9" wheel period.

Yeah, problem is the wheels are made for Mustangs then drilled to Mark VIII bolt pattern. I've got the 18" x 9" Bullits on my '98 and the recommended 245/45/18 tires are definately to skinny for the wheels. I looked at all the space available in the wheel well and distance from suspension and think that 255's may be a bit better and SHOULD fit fine.

It all depends on the offset... Which one did you get? 245s should fit just fine on a 9" wheel. But 255/265 are perfect. 275s are pretty much the largest tires for a 9" wheel.

36mm offset. The tires fit fine but the wheels are not totally flush with the tires. Lets put it this way, if I took one of the wheels/tires off and dropped it on the ground you would not hear rubber pounding the ground, you would hear metal.

All OEM manufacturers install at least 275 tires on a 9" wheel.

You will be fine running up to 275/40/17 on the front taking into account specific tire brands.

I fit a 275/40/17 on a 9 inch wide wheel with a 36mm offset with only VERY VERY minor rubbing when turned all the way right. Keep in mind the brand of tire does matter. My yokohama es100 tires have a very stiff straight sidewall where my friends 255's BFG's on the same wheel have a more curved/bulging side wall and his rub in front although they are supposed to be 20mm skinnier. I agree that a 275 is the perfect size for a 9inch rim, my 245's fit the rim but they do look small on it. The tread width is actually skinnier than the rim.
