Dragstrip Question for BlackIce/Craig

Craig can you give me a comparison on your 60 foot times from before you swapped to coils versus after you swapped to coils?

I'm thinking about the additional weight of the front struts compared to air ride.

The reason I'm asking is Glen {stone17) is having problems in the 60'

I/we have no data on his car before the coil conversion to compare so I'm posing this question to you OH GURU of Coil Springs?

Can you post a "pre coil conversion" timeslip and a "post conversion" timeslip so we can compare the data?
Please?

Also...
sometime back there was a post with some 90/10s for a Tbird.

Do you recall any details on them?

to put some 90/10 or 80/20's on the front of my car would have a "very desireable" effect!

Since I replaced my "broken K member" with a properly functioning unit, my 60's have suffered..

Remember your question about IF I had my front sway bar removed?

my reply was NO...

My reply SHOULD have been.. NO, that nose up attitude is caused by a 6 inch crack in my K member!

There was a huge crack, a large piece of missing metal and both motor mount saddles were broken as well..

RE: Dragstrip Question for BlackIce/Craig

Drag shocks for Tbird.. 90/10 front shocks.

your car is a daily driven street car, you dont need 90/10s, nor would I suggest you running them on your car.

90/10's would upset your car's handling to a point that I wouldn't feel save putting them on your car.

Especially since you like peeling out and donuts and other types of aggressive driving that doesnt pertain to drag racing.
90/10s are for drag only cars.

You need to get your car tuned, before you trash the transmission with the delayed shifts...
anything else isn't going to be of any help to you, until you get your PCM sorted out for the new gears.
