Engine stumbles throughout drive range

The MAF/PCM fuel codes are related, its not going to be a bad fuel pump.

Recommend changing the wires! :)
 
Sorry for the delay in response folks, I didn't get my hands on a fuel pressure gauge yet.
Money keeps getting diverted to more important things (I shutter to say...)
 
I recently picked up this one, to help confirm a suspicion of a faulty fuel pump on a friend's Cougar. it worked well.

every time the engine stumbled, the pressure dropped like a rock. If one listened carefully, you could also hear the pump "grumble" when it happened as well. "whirr, whirr, whirr,, grrrrr.... whirr whirr.. grr..."
