Here i go again.. Had this same problem on my 03 Ls.. now today, while i was out school shopping for my daughter, I had the ETC failer mode come on twice, along with the check engine light.. went by auto zone to check the codes and the is what it's telling me... P2107 Tac module processor

Could anyone give me some kind of idea, what this is ?? I love my car but darn it all lol

after reading a few post on ETC fail mode, someone said they had a problem with the drain tubes from the sunroof ?? where in the world are those located at ? Also, can a bad coil give out false readings an give you a " etc failer mode" ??

One more.... have you had a water hose in your engine compartment lately? When you previously had the coil/plug problem, how many plugs/coils were replaced? I read that you may have more going/gone!

Be aware that RFI from the coils mis-firing can also cause this. The noise gets in the wire harness and the PCM freaks out and puts the car in fail safe mode. The only way to really find this is to stress test the coils. Most Ford dealers should be able to do this. Ask the service manager if they have the COP stress tester.
The coils could be mis-firing from oil in the spark plug wells. Check for that.

Sounds like the right thing to do...unless you want to buy another new coil and keep putting it in one at a time until you find the guilty one!

not really lol.. could it be a throttle sensor ? I drove it this morning, about 7 miles, ran like a champ.. what's the best way to diagnose this problem ??

any idea what the cost my be on that..

Sorry, no, my Mark VIII has an antiquated steel cable, lol

From what i have on my vette i see they just bolt right up to the throttle body so i am guessing it can be a DYI fix. Maybe check the connections and wiring first. Everything is run by voltage, anything interfering with the voltage will cause a malfunction.
