Fires are still going, I think. I wonder what it'll be like tomorrow morning when I go to school. It has been so dark since yesterday evening. Alright, enjoy!

I lived in Santa Barbara for like 20 years, so I know what you mean......the fires would move so fast they only scorched tree trunks and left the branches and leaves unburned.
No way to fight a fire like that....the only thing that stopped it was when it finally reached the oceon.

We live in Escondido and the fire approached from two directions.
We packed everything that we could fit into the RV. Loaded the truck and trailer and stood watch.
I had made the call to leave behind the Mark CE and the Pantera.
We never had to move out. The wind shifted and blew in from the ocean, saving our home and lives. I have saved to many toys over the years.
We are now in the process of moving 1/2 of the things we want to save out to the Colorado River house.
