First Real Road Trip

Took the family and "greenKIN"for the first real road trip today. Went to Pensy and all around in PA Dutch Country! Hot weather (90+) but the A/C worked flawless and the car just drives so smooth and quiet. It like glides on the wind. Lost NY/NJ stereo channels & got to use RDS system. Tricky until you figure it out. MPG averaged 20 to 21. Average speed total was 50 MPH but that includes stopping, red lights and traffic. Average speed while moving was 77 MPH. Cruise "on" ~ Absolutely zero wind noise.
It's nice when you get out to almost non - civialization, and see horses, cows, sheep, corn fields, old farms 1960's cars abandonded by road side. Tired from driving, but a nice day! Come back to urban American, stop & go & stop and too many people in too little space. I need to move out there where the hawks fly at dawn!

That's my every day commute to work... yeah, I spend an hour in the car, but it's nice and relaxing....

Glad you had a good day out!
