Well, my old car (a ’94 Honda Accord) finally kicked the bucket. I’m gonna miss that car. Not once did it fail me (at least not when I wasn’t expecting it to; I usually had ample warning and time to address it when something was going wrong…) but all things die eventually, I guess.
I started looking into cars that would seat 6 and would be good for road trips, as I took a lot of them in the Honda, and space was always a bit tight. I was surprised to find that they don’t actually make many 6-seaters anymore, ouside of SUVs or vans! That narrowed my search quite a bit… Anyway, after doing a lot of research, I decided on a Town Car… then I found a pretty blue ’96 Lincoln Town car being sold at a used car dealership, and decided to go for it.
One month later: Best car ever. Still needs a lot of work, but I’m very happy with it.
Stumbled across this site while searching for how to do some of the repairs on it myself, and decided to jump in and say “hi!” :wave:
