Ford car parade through Carlisle

For Corvettes the hotel takes reservations for the patio so people can watch the Corvette Cruise through town. Now that there is a Ford one did anyone check with the hotel to see if we need such a reservation for those not participating?

By the way, I got the job from Carlisle Events to make the special dash plaques for the vehicles participating in the cruise. They came out really nice if I say so myself!

The parade complicated the banquet plans to say the least. From what I know, they have a parade buffet that required reservations.

Our banquet starts at 8 PM with dinner at 8:30 PM. We have the banquet room (downstairs) starting at 6 PM. So that allows us to get set up and allows members to mingle or join with the parade if they would like.

The patio is reserved for a private party as is the bar and outer restaurant. Some of the things maybe open to us wandering through... I think it's going to be a case of wait and see what happens...

Don't we have the 2nd deck of the parking garage reserved???????

Hahah!

Yeah, that would be nice ... wondering if we'll have anywhere to park in the garage, with the parade going on?

Well, in theory we will beat the parade to our hotel by several hours... which is good since main st will be closed, so to get to the hotel you'd have to use that side street that I always pull out of and then go the wrong way...

Before the parade you should be able to come in as normal off of Hanover. Once they close it off, you'll likely have to use the side street entrance to the garage.

If it is like the Corvette parade the streets open back up with in an hour or so, but cars still may be parked in the middle lane until around 10:00 pm i think

Middle lane? No parking on the sidewalk?! :fart

Well Joe is not doing the parade, but he can still try to park there :)

with the air ride override switches and the locking dif in the grey car, I could drive that thing up the stairs onto the patio... :D

edit: if someone holds the double doors open, I could probably drive right into the lobby...
