Wow 305hp in Mustang V6 and
412hp in Mustang GT.
I think I know what I am gonna buy as my Lincoln Replacement.
BTW; What you guys think this think will run in a 1/4 mile based on 3500lbs+412hp and 6 speed trans auto or manual.
I think it should be a solid 12 sec car at around 110-114 mph in a 1/4 mile?
You sure? The Terminator Cobras were 160 lbs heavier and 22 hp less, on paper. Maybe the powerband is thicker, but still, those were 12.9sec cars out of the box.No a 13 sec car for the v8.

That's all I can be until I get one of my own, ya know.We will have to wait and see a totally stock one run the 1/4 Mr bench racer, lol
Sadly still a live rear axle
Likely to maintain a more 'muscle car' demeanor.
Some people like my dad say the REAL muscle cars disappeared with the carburators...
And no power steering, brakes, windows, seats, AC, and 4 wheel drum brakes.

WHYY The ****
The new MT82 manual is designed by Fords JFT joint venture with
Getrag in Germany and built in a four-way joint venture plant in China.
It features synchromesh on all gears, including Reverse, even in the
six-cylinder version.
and this part...
The 6R80 is new to Mustangs but has been running in Expeditions and
Navigators. Upgraded for 2011, it is a filled-for-life box with enhanced
power capability.
"Disposable."Do manual trans not have syncros on all gears?
what does "filled for life" mean?
