An organization like Ours was formed for a reason and that was to come together as a group and share in the passion we have for our cars and comraderie with the car owners. Whether they are show quality or project cars; daily drivers or weekend racers, it's all about the cars and the people that own them. NELCE/LOD events are talked about in chat each and every week and are planned well in advance. It was disappointing, to say the least, to witness the low turnout yesterday at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ knowing that this event was talked about and put on the calender almost thee months ago.

Imagine how Jack and I felt after reserving 30 spaces for OUR members, including affilliate members and having to give up 27 of them a third of the way into the course of the event. We had one member who wasn't permitted to park in the show car area only because he was racing and was required to stay in the pit area. But what about the rest of you?

It's disappointing, disheartening and a shame that the rest of the membership isn't taking a more active part in our group; key word being OUR. Most of the members are in NY from the way the list looks so there's no excuse for there not being more involvemnet at least on a local level such as the Bellmore Train Station meets on Friday nights, etc.

After Carlisle on June 3, 4 and 5, the NEXT NELCE/ LOD meet will be on June 18th in Edison, NJ I'm hoping to see more of the members there ....

I understand how your feeling. For the moment I don't have a car to put in these shows. I mean I have few SUV's, but not cars. I would love to go to a few of the meets and just hang out, but until the end of June it isn't possible for me. My son plays AAU Basketball and the games are played on the weekends so I have to and want to be there for him. After the season is over I will have more time for other things. As for the cruise nights down in the city it is hard for me because it is a 2+ hour drive for me each way so for things like the friday night or during the week cruises are out for me due to time.

I agree maybe we should try setting up a few BBQ type meets.

this meet was a lod/nelce/lscriders combo meet i took 30 spots because i was told that atleast 20 members from lsc riders would show plus members that do not belong to any of the clubs and just want to hang out. well i have seen alot of talk and zero action. i am not going to resort to the type of buy tactics that somebody else used to make a meet. as for edison it is a combo meet and greet it will be held at the buffet house on that date more info will be supplied as the date nears

o and john i dont mean rhose that had previous engagements or have to work there are plenty of us members that had nuttin doin yesterday and coulda took a ride out.

Eric I understand what you are saying bro. No hard feelings. I just wanted to let you know whats going on up here.
