Front end drops for no reason

Hey guys, I'm new here. I signed up because I was hoping someone could help me with this problem, and I also love my Lincoln :D. So I have a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. The guy I bought it from worked with his mechanic to tap into the stock air ride system and ran switches to my center console. I have a switch for each tire, a switch to turn the stock air ride leveling on and off, and a switch for power to the switches.
The problem is, whenever I turn my car off, about 10 seconds after I lock and close the doors, the front end lets ALL the air out of the front two airbags. Then every time I start it up I either have to manually hold the switches down, or let the stock system do its job. However, a lot of times if I let the stock system do it, it tries to pump it up for about 30 seconds and it goes nowhere, gives up and give me the Check Air ride error. If I do it manually, it takes FOREVER! It seems like it doesn't pump anything for like the first 45 seconds.
Any suggestions? Thanks guys!
