FS: 03 Lincoln Navigator

I'm selling my 2003 Navigator and would like to buy something a little smaller. I'm not much of a truck guy and just dont feel all that comfortable in it. I have had it for about 18 months and have done some work to it in that time. The ASKING price is $15,000 but is negotiable of course. The truck has 72K miles and works great. It is fully loaded except for Navigation and the automatic running boards that always break. In the 18 months I have owned it I have done the following:

New front tires BFG Long Trail TA
New front brake pads, good stuff from dealer
New rear pads and rotors, same as fronts
New air suspension pump from Ford
New lower ball joints, Moog
New right rear strut and o-rings for the air bag
Oil always changed with Mobil One Synthetic
New battery
New air filter and fuel filter
20% tint on the front windows ;)

Unfortunately the passengers side heated/cooled seat does not work and the valet bulb in the passenger side mirror is out. I just have'nt found the time or money to repair it and the GF's bum being warm just is'nt a priority. :p Please e-mail me or PM me if you are interested and I will give you my phone number.

These photos are from when I first purchased the truck, but it hasn't changed since then and I have actually had the carpets professionally shampooed.

What engine is in it? What horrible kind of fuel mileage does it get?

It gets about 13-16 mpg around town depending on how you drive of course. On the highway it gets about 19 or 20 I believe.

I like it and the kids love it because of the DVD player in back but I get bored with cars after about a year or so. The only car I still LOVE is my 98 LSC even with 216K miles.

The engine is a 5.4 as was posted by someone else. No problems with the motor at all since I bought it. Starts right up even in dead cold.

4X4 works good in deep or light snow. The tires are a little noisy but only because they are the BFG Long Trails. I should have put a better highway tire on but I wanted to match the rears that were still good.

LETS MAKE A DEAL! :D

Well, it looks like I will be trading it in towards a 2009 Chevy Impala SS black/black, 35K miles. I know its blasphemy to get rid of a beautiful Lincoln for a Chevy but... I didn't really want to do that but I found the car I wanted.

Still got the Mark VIII though. Always dependable and fun. GF is nudging me to get rid of it and get a Taurus as the new "Off Island" car

If only the timing had been a little better. This would be the ultimate replacement for my '86. I just don't yet have the cash, and don't want to take out a loan. :D

It's even a good color.

They only gave me $10,100 for it  I would have rather sold it to a member of this fine site for that price.

She's a hater :p

BTW congrats! :D

Thank you sir. I pick it up tomorrow in the beautiful city of Lynn MA

Its got some pep to it, but the torque steer is something I need to get used to.

Yeah, welcome to my world... :p

We may just have to have a little go up Rt 28 sometime :D

I think your black GM sedan will be faster (little more power, lighter?), but my black GM sedan does have some good gearing... :D

DTSax did the 1/4 mile in 15.83

You know we will! RTE 28 is a bunch of fun.

What motor is in the DTSax?

We gotta get together next week some time. Im bringing the new car up to Ziggys to get the windows done and wouldn't mind some company/drinks. Let me know what day is good for you and I will make the appt for that day. Tuesday is good for me because I don't have to work that night. :D

A buddy of mine said he researched these cars and found that it will do the 1/4 in 14.26 @ 106mph. I dont know how true that is but...

Congrats on the new home squad car. And don't let her forget that more than just cars can be replaced if she gets to nagging about losing the Mark. ;)

The Saxillac is the 4.6 Northstar NHP which is claimed 300hp, but I think it's actually 297...

14.26 would kill me from a dead stop...

maybe rolling starts is where I have a chance...

I bet having my air conditioned seats massaging me, while heating my steering wheel will make me feel better about getting smoked... :p
did I mention 5.1 channel surround sound? or 3 zone climate control?
