Gapping

What should i gap my spark plugs to for an S/C set up? (I lost my book with all this stuff in it... haha).

And maybe i'll get a second opinion as well... My cars idle is bouncing up and down fast, and it seems like the passanger side exhaust is exhaling more than the drivers side. Smells rich, and the car stalled when pulling into a parking space this morning because she lost idle.

The bouncing idle kind of feels like a quaking. (and the tensioner is moving up and down fast).

There's also no oil leak anywhere.

buds probably right, OR ON the right track

Your car is having problems turning the SC at Idle.
It a load issue..can be solved in the tune.
Who tuned it?
They should be able to fix an "idle overshoot" issue

Its not just on idle its accelerating too.

Its tuned by dennis reinhart.

Im going to change the plugs and see if it changes... It has no cats now and kind of smelt like un-burnt fuel this morning. (Possibly no ignition).

The IAC valve does need to be changed though, old part... Been seeing high idle code for a while now.

got it, pass side front coil *phew*

I've heard some bad things about granatelli coils but they're claiming 65k volts with 0-ohms resistance.

Anyone hate these?

Zero ohms?

Let's do the math:

Using Ohm's law, 65K Volts divided by 0 Ohms equals error Amps.

That coil doesn't sound very good to me.:D

Actually, I don't know much about aftermarket coils, but I've heard a lot of bad things about them.:)

You know thats funny, i was learning about ceramic super conductors the other day and was told that they have 0 Ohms resistance, but never thought about an infinite amount of Amps . Maybe when people use 0 Ohms they really mean a number like .001 or something.

Thanks for the heads up, im not getting them. ;)
