gauging interest 97 lsc for sale.

Arrgh. You're killing me jamie. I'm already married to this one. Once again, I reflect back on that terribly high price I payed for mine at the dealer. What a sucker. If I could sell mine tomorrow, I would be there in a heartbeat.

Have you ever ran it at the track? I'm putting my car up and seeing what happens.

Something about the Cobra R's just looks good on the notches. Never been a fan of the Draglights...they are too played out (all though Cobras are on everything nowadays).

I do miss mine...probably won't when I get to drive the Lincoln though, haha.

Kirk, you totally missed out...I hope you didn't pay TOO much for yours. :) Nice Avatar pic btw! :D

well just so everyone knows it is a gauging interest thread, i am not actually selling the car until i find its replacement if i even do, i dont have money in hand to buy what i want, and i havent even found anything yet that i am interested in, or that i can even afford, so i have searching to do before i set anything in stone with my 97.

Nothing is in stone here either Jamie, but let's just put it this way. If I can make things work at this end I would rush down to nab it up if you found the other car that you want.

Got em Jamie. Arrrgh this is killing me.

How many miles are on the transmission? Stall converter? Interior pics? Suspension original? Replaced?

from what the previous owner had said the motor and trans were both rebuilt, i dont know what it has for a convertor it might be stock i dont know. i will take interior pics this weekend after i clean it i am gonna take it to a local cruise night this weekend. suspension is lowered vogtland for a super coupe with kyb rear shocks, energy suspension end links, and sway bar bushings front and rear, control arms are trw's.

a BRAND, like strutmaster, mcphearson, billstein.....

they are vogtland lowered coil springs on strutmasters struts. the rear are just the lowered vogtland coils with kyb shocks. i can promise not many people have driven a mark VIII on coils that drives like this car, no other mark on coils i have been in even comes close to this ride this car is tight and handles like its on rails, no body roll and no sloppy spongy feeling like other coils.

Is the "smog pump" the thing in the bumper or the diverter valve by the crank pulley?

i did, and i am copy and pasting this from the last page because not everyone is seeing it and i have 4 people who want to come get the car so i am pasting this again.

I surrender. It's not looking good here after further analysis and with a salvage title it's looking even worse. Not a single bite on craigslist, but I am impatient too. And wouldn't ya know, my sister and her husband are going to Florida this weekend to visit hubby's dad.

Oh well, someone is going to enjoy that car. I can definitely enjoy the silver bullet, but I just need to fix a few things and add a few more to make it more bullet-like. :D Jamie, best of luck with the sale, and I hope you get every dime you are asking because that car is worth it. Absolutely gorgeous and I will continue to lust after it until it is gone. :D

You gotta sell it before you can buy that (any) notch. Now that you have "gauged interest" let everyone know you're NOT selling it.
