got me two more mark VIII's to paint, 94 garnett red first, then a 93 cranberry. i will have pics up in about an hour, ive been sanding all day and i came home to eat, its 8 pm and im eating for the first time since i got up at 8 this morning, man i have to stop this!!! cant be very healthy! anyway, i'll keep updates on this as i go along, i left one side of the car untouched so i can get a pic of each side before i sand the whole thing. the paint sucks on this thing its really bad!!
 
yeah well i wait so long i feel sick its time to stop. besides i have no food in the shop so i have to stop to go home and eat, usually after i do i cant go back im too tired!!

I have seen paint like that or even worse on Mark VIIIs... that Cali sun sure takes its toll... Most of the time it is black ones though.

That said I hope you'll remove those nasty chrome wheel arches as well ;).

personal favor ha ha you are a comedian, i hate this type of work, i'd rather be shoveling horse crap in a parade. but i need the money!
 
Jamie...that's how my car looks, except it is even more of a contrast because the cracking/flaking/peeling/fading turns white, and the rest of the car is black.

One day(I know I keep saying that) I will get after mine much the same way you have taken to that one...

I just find it hard to pour time/money in to a car with 173k miles on it.
You know as soon as I do, I'll find another one to buy!
