Grand Theft Auto 4.....

How many here own an Xbox 360? If so, how many times did your console break? I got it when it first launched and up until last year ,I went through 4 of them before I just gave up and sold the damn thing after getting it back from microsoft...
 
I've got an X-Box 360 and {knock on wood} no issues. I don't really use it that much though. The son picked up Guitar Hero a few weeks ago and I thought it was pretty cool.

I like the racing games more than anything, can't imagine why. :p
 
Ive got a 360, have had it a little over a year, no problems, though like jp I dont play that much. Anyone on here play forza 2? Main reason I bought the xbox

naaa ive been addicted to World of Warcraft for a while now. Had to upgrade to dual PCI video cards and four 1 gig sticks of RAM with AMD dual core 64 sitting on a ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe MOBO.
Darn teenagers...if i cant beat em on reflexes, ill beat them with technology and ping times. lol
hah Yeah right, alot of thier home computers will smoke me in a heartbeat im sure. Im behind on upgrades and dual flatscreens monitors are next once i get rid of these 2 21" CRTs. haha these were state of the art back in my graphic design days. And there still kicking. lol
 
Brad likes: Call of Duty 4, Burnout Paradise, and GranTurismo games on the PS3. He just had to have a PSP this year, too . . . kids!! :cool:
 
I just got it today... So far I think it is really good. But I can't say it is amazing, it seems like a logical continuation of the other games.

I do like the level of detail though... tons of different cars, radio stations, people etc.
 
I'll be picking this up for PS3 later in the week. I wasn't really into buying it since I played the previous versions for PS2 and honestly got bored with San Andreas. From what I hear and read, its really worth it so I'll give it a shot even though I still play a ton of COD4.

For those with the XBox 360....your time is limited UNLESS you get the intercooler fans for it. The 360 has a "3 red rings of death" issue that causes them to fail. Basically they overheat.......I searched real quick and found this, but to avoid the issue completely, get the intercooler.

Whoa.....careful there. The intercooler has been said to cause more 360s to fry than it has helped. The problem is that they draw power from the power supply of the 360 and cause it to work harder to cool which cause the 360 to generate more heat.

If you have a 360, make sure it is in a VERY well ventilated area and might want to put a house fan next to it. But probably just putting off the inevitable RRoD.

I have a PS3 too. :big-grin:

Haha....no man, it just goes into my "training and experience" file. "Sorry Sir, but based on my training and experience (of playing GTA4) it appears you ran off that road and crashed into the tree because you thought that the embankment was a Unique Jump." Lol!
