Hello fellow Mark VIII enthusiasts,
I found a great link to a document with some neat Mark VIII historical information which would be nice to capture on this site. Perhaps someone with authority could add it to the 'Lincoln Tech' page. By the way, I didn't name the link. Maybe this is old news to some folks here, but I haven't seen it until now.

I especially liked the target market section. Who on this board qualifies as "celebrities, sports professionals and entertainers who are looking for domestic alternatives to Porsches and Jaguars."?
Also impressive was the attention to detail behind this fact: "An exclusive 10-cars-per-hour assembly line is used at the Wixom factory. This is slower than any other assembly line used by FoMoCo. The typical assembly-line speed at Wixom is 45-cars-per-hour."
