Hi,
My name is Tim from Shorewood, IL. I just bought a 1998 Mark VIII LSC a few days ago, it has it's quirks such as the blend door problem, so this site is going to be a real handy place for me. I LOVE THESE CARS!!!

Hi Tim! I'm from Buffalo Grove, IL. We keep talking about meeting up at the track in Joliet, so keep with us and maybe we'll actually make it out there this year as a group! Otherwise we do all kinds of other midwest events. Congrats on the car!

welcome, i'm from the gurnee area and got mine about 4 months ago. Cant wait for some meets this summer once my97 lsc comes out of hibernation.
 
Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I'm glad to see some people from the Chicago area, I was hoping that would be the case when I found this site. Here is a link to my dirty car hibernating in my garage. I will be quite busy cleaning her up and fixing a few of the minor issues such as the blend door, heater core and some parking lot dings, followed by a good thorough detailing.

Excellent "before" photo.

I hope you took a lot of them. I wish I took a before photo of my green Mark when I bought it.

I bought mine cheap as a beater car. It was so filthy I had to wash it as soon as I got home.

Beautiful car, I love the Octastars on a black LSC.
