Green and Red 94's ready for winter

RE: Green and Red 94's ready for winter

I've taken beater trucks out on the lake, but never a decent vehicle. Too afraid of it sinking. The section right by the shore is always the scariest. That's where there always seems to be a car sized section of thin ice...

I've seen plenty of marks driven in the snow, and drove my first one in the snow myself. With good tires and a little weight in the trunk it does just fine.

What lake is that?

Reminds me of what my car looked like last March at the track. The two hour trek was through mountains still covered in snow/salt/slush. The track announcer remarked "Now THERE'S a daily driver!" :7

It's a great car for snow and ice it seems to handle it well. I have only had mine a month but it has already been thru several snow storms and other than a little wheel spin away from the stop lights it is darn good. If you start of in 2nd gear and pull away slowly it's no problem.

Yes taking the traction assist off in snow is not a good idea, also I find that if I have to stop in a hurry that shifting into neutral helps. Of course shifting into reverse would help also....;)

Sorry, some of my posts got lost in the move. Thanks again for all the nice comments about my cars.

Here's the photos again. I still like the look of the snowflakes although the wheels look rough on the red Mark as it's my winter driver.

I added an older shot of the Red Mark, when the wheels still looked good.:)
