RE: Hartzell Constant Speed Prop

upgrading are we? None the less, thats pretty cheap. Wish I had a plane to put it on....
...I'll get there someday!

RE: Hartzell Constant Speed Prop

Hartzell has a half price sale till the end of the year on propellers :) And this one would need to be overhauled anyways. It has very light surface corrosion on it.

RE: Hartzell Constant Speed Prop

Im going into the airport this afternoon, I think I know of a guy with a lance that might be interested. None the less, ill post it on the board and let the mechanics know.

RE: Hartzell Constant Speed Prop

any reasonable offer will buy it.... trying to get it out of here so we have an excuse to buy a new one :)

RE: Hartzell Constant Speed Prop

Do I have to upgrade my car's cooling system if I install a prop like that, or will the added air flow aid in cooling?

Also, does anyone know if adding a Prop from a plane that size require a muffler bearing upgrade?

I am interested, but I am short on cash... can I make payments?

lol... love to see pics of that plane..

The cooling system should be ok, but you might have to upgrade your headlight fluid. And it was built for a 300hp engine, so you might have to do some mods, thats at the crank, so nothing too drastic ;)

Sure, one payment of just $2,250 :)

This is what the plane looks like currently. The engine should be back by Christmas, and then everything gets put back together and then its flown down to southern Arkansas for paint. Then from there it'll go up to Omaha for an interior, and finally back to Alton for avionics.
