Hi Everyone. On my 98 Mark VIII with 204,250 Miles. I have had the issue for 3 years of ruff idle, stalling out etc. when its cold and sits over night. NEVER IN THE SUMMER. Once the motor warms up it runs fine. My 95 did the same thing. I'm in Texas so we don't get that cold that often. I will occasionally get P1506 and might be accompanied with P0171 & P174. I have found a couple of vacuum leeks in hoses and replaces and grommets (replaced and tested) most vacuum are holding now at 15psi. With the miles being over 200k I wanted to start updating sensors. Last year or so I replaced the TP sensor, idle control, all 4. O2 sensors , mass air meatier. Removed the intake and cleaned IMRC and secondary valve from oil buildup. With in the last month I replaces Crank sensor, all 8 coil and spark plugs ( I found that the plugs on the harness to the coils may not make good connection and had to replace a pigtail), cam sensor, the Y hoses that connect from the intake to the PVC & valve cover pvc valve cover grommet, replaced the hose under the throttle body to fuel vent and a couple of other vacuum hoses that appeared to be deteriorating. I watched a couple of videos and looks like the bad cold start and codes could be the INTAKE GASKETS. So I'm asking has anyone had the same issue and fixed it. I'm starting to think I should replace all intake gaskets and valve cover gasket to insure the block is getting good vacuum.
