So i used my 97 radiator to put in my 93. Now i see there is ALOT of room under the hood to work with, now that i have my fusebox , brake res, valvecover, alternator, waterpump, radiator all removed..... How hard is it at this point to just pull the head off with the motor in place?? I KNOW its possible but is it cost effective vs labor?? I can do all the labor myself.
So I have all this stuff removed, what else do i need to remove, the intake and what else ??? I was told there is a special tool to get the timing chain off but someone brought somethin to my attention, and said i could probably just make marks on the sprocket and just removed the sprocket by unbolting it allowing me to take the chain off. Can this work ??? Thanks in advance again to all info and advice.
EDIT: Also this is for my 97lsc LOL
