Hey all, my name is Bill and I have lurked here off and on for a bit not really ever posting. Thought I should finally say something and introduce myself.
I live in Texas, work in the Waco area. This is my second Mark and I bought it this year after my 97 Evergreen LSC was hit and parted out. Poured my blood sweat and tears into that car over a two year period and guess this time I was impatient and have busted my azz building the nwe one.

So here it is, a 1998 Pear LSC. One owner (not counting me) and had under 89K on it in January. Was in great shape minus a small dent and some suspension issues. Had new bags in the rear and new air strut on the drivers side, all OEM equipment. Car was always serviced and epaired at the Ford dealer too.

Since I got it I have done the following:
Replaced UCA, LCA, Links, strut rod bushings and new OEM passenger strut/bag
Cobra brakes up front with custom drilled rotors and custom painted calipers
Braided stainless brake lines
Saleen 18" Speedstars, these are the prototypes, first built set.
Yokohama S-drive 285/40 & 245/45 tires
Sensor lower
ASHAM8 with custom mount
Cobra Trac Lok with 4 clutches
3.73 gears
93 Driveshaft
Addco 1.25" sway bars front and back
SCP IRS brace, K-member brace and firewall brace
Magnaflow resonated x-pipe
Borla Pro XS mufflers
2.5" mandrel bent pipes
Custom tips
X-Cal2 with full software package and custom tunes
255lph pump
Pioneer/JL Audio/Boston Acoustics DVD/NAV system

Sitting on my floor waiting to go in:
KB 2.2L 96-98 Cobra supercharger kit (yes, custom 2.2 not a 2.1)
Cobra fuel rails (still hunting)
03/04 Injectors (still hunting)
Lightning MAF (still hunting)
96-98 Cobra intake tube and CAI (still hunting)
J-mod
Trans cooler
PLX DM-100 gauge with wideband and boost
Head cooling mod

Thanks, will do. I have a huge progress thread on LVC showing all the crap I have gone through since I owned her.

I really like the custom ASHAM8 control/display. I thought about the something the same but now that you've done it, I'll let you have the notoriety. ;)

Keep up the good work and good luck with the blower project! :D

I think maybe you should have made the pics a little bigger! ;)

I dont know, let me try. :p

I thought this site resized pics but alas I was wrong. I guess I could take them down. :D

And Driller, with your first gen it will be the only one so I say go for it. Its easier then I thought and I could give you some tips if you like.

I use Mihov Image Resizer to quickly resize images for posting.

If I ever get around to the interior of the Blue Flame, I may do a custom ASHAM8 mount. I've thought about it along with a custom switch for the chip and customizing the control for the cutouts (plus some other things).

Yeah on mine the knob is for the JL amp, the door right next to it is for my USB drive reader and then the ASHAM8. I have taken the defroster out and fixed its angle since the picture.
tell me about the stereo display thingy??????

The display? Thats just part of the Pioneer software that all the Z series has. It reads speed and acceleration and also has a voltage meter. Fairly accurate.

Hey Bill, didnt know you were a mod over here. :)

Its funny, I came over here to just check it out and its mostly the LVC crew. LOL!

Welcome! I know we're all glad you're here! Your exaust system is a shining example of craftsmanship. I really like your use of the heated seat/traction control panel. A ride to be proud of.

Brad has black speedstar on order but who knows where there coming in to stock I want to get some black speedstar myself.

hmm center console?

any boaters here..u gotta check out predatorpowerboats.com
nice center console here and cats! a must see for speed enthooiests

I too, love the super-clean ASHAM8 install. How much work was it? Mine is zip-tied inside the glovebox. classy. :(

I'm also digging the Lincoln-emblem brake calipers. I don't believe I've seen those before.

Thanks all.

The ASHAM, all you have to do is remove the defroster button then dremmel out the mount. Then you just lay a single layer of heavily gooped fibreglass and after it cures you sand it down a little then use some body filler and sand to shape and let cure. After that its just dremeling out the openings and paint. With the display plexi you just cut it off the ASHAMS bezel and shape with the Dremel.

The brakes were much easier though to do. LOL!
