Is anyone keeping track of CE numbers to see how many are still on the road?

I've always liked the idea of a "Mark VIII Registry" as a whole. I don't think anyone's ever made one, and I don't quite have the skillset. I do appreciate that these cars keep turning up though.
 
I think back in the day Alex and/or Sandy talked about a CE registry. Sandy had a mustang McLaren one. Unfortunately they passed away too young and never were able to put one together.
