since i have owned my 98 mark viii lsc i have been having a problem with it. It is slugish off the line and goes no where when you open it up. When you hit 3 grand the motor starts to sound like its mis fireing. the computer threw me a p1519 but the IMRCs are not stuck and i changed out the box but still the same problem and it is still throwing me the same code. Does any one have any idea what my problem may be? i was thinking the cats may be clagged but that shouldnt throw that code.

WHen you say they are not stuck did you move them by hand or did you check by letting the computer open them?

both, i watched and i made sure they moved freely by hand

if you clear the code does it come back immediately or not.

It could be a loose wire if it only give the code now and then

no it comes back instantly after clearing the code

i think im just going to end up taking it to a shop and see what they think cause this problem has really been bothering me i cant take my car over 3000 rpms cause it runs very bad when i do
