Just purchased my first Lincoln.
I was looking for a luxury car with more room than my Mercedes C280 and decided on the Mark Viii.
I found many good deals but ran across a gold colored one at a used car lot.
I had never seen a gold Mark Viii and researched it on the web.
I went back to the lot and validated that it was a 1998 Spring Feature edition LSC, which is one of 2 known (from what I could find).
I contacted Ford and they said it is one of the rarest production cars Ford has built and is worth ~45K currently, so I went to the lot and purchased it for $3.3K.
I love the car, but now to my problem and reason for joining this site:
The fan air only comes out the defrost/floor no matter which button I push on the control unit ( I noticed this problem the day after purchase).
The more serious problem is that I don't have any heat!
It was 34degs this morning here is sunny California, but I was freezing in this car (decided to go home and take another car).
I really like the car, but this sucks, pls help.
