Hello I'm recently purchased the 2nd Lincoln I've ever owned, a '97 LSC 136,000 miles. This car has been stored and not driven for perhaps a year or more.
First of all allow me to thank each and everyone responsible for this fine forum.
Secondly I look forward to at some point assisting any fellow members in as best I can, however at this point I need all the help you're willing and able to give me as my LSC is in need of some sorting.
I'm seeking advice on a number of issues, flashing check engine lite, PO tells me code pulled was for # 6cyl mis-fire. Driving the car confirms at the very least there is a mis-fire in at least one cyl? Car has steady idle, though mis is apparent. Engine is quite, shifts out ok.
This the first domestic car I've owned since selling my '97 SC RIV last year.
I've always wanted an LSC since I sold a friend a new first gen.
I was a master certified Lincoln Mercury sales person a decade ago.
I currently reside in the Buffalo,NY area after 8 years in Orlando,FL and 15 in Atlanta,Ga.
I own well over 100 cars over the years mostly euro stuff along with a few Asian.
I'm a divorced father of four, with the youngest 2 still at home, (14&18).
I own 2 other cars, '88 560SL, '90 300zx, obviously the LSC will need to be the grocery getter, daily driver(custody change was recent).
