Hey Folks....leeeeetttts plaaaay "NAME THAT PART!"

Electrical switch for cut outs on the exhaust?

Haha thats a great guess! That would be a redneck cutout switch. *holds it up in the air next to his face while looking at the car next to him* (cutouts open) *spits chew out the window* LMAO

Craig....that was an easy one bro! I knew what it was right away....kinda a far away shot so it almost looked like a remote starter switch, but with the little plastic "cup" for your eye I could tell it was a Cylinder Bore Scope. :D

On second thought....maybe its the remote control for my little remote control spider above, haha.

Back to the "tough" ones, haha. I will put some easy ones for you old timers that haven't/don't work on these newer cars.

Don't worry about what car this came from........

I'm using hints in the background, and on the part itself.
There is a collection of grease gust on the corners of the arm.
There is a car seat cushion in the background...usually under car seats there is alot of that sticky dust....

why would the seat be out?
FUEL TANK access for some vehicles.....

am I even getting close?

Matt, good guess, you're onto something but wrong area of a car.

Craig, you're onto something about the sticky dirt under a seat and the grease. But the seats in the background are from my car. You won't find anything in the background that will help you on this part.

Wayne....nope. Lol!

Lol Alexander!

Well....apparently you guys aren't taking this too seriously so I'll leave it at that.

Jokes are all good, but this was actually a serious thread...ya know?

OK, here's my serious guess:

Would this be a part that holds a lever or shaft for the transmission kick down?

That Frankenstein is great though.:D

Valve cover bolt, with a provision for spark plug wire plastic thingy attachment?

Max was right..............because I told him, haha.

How about this one?

BTW...that gold ash tray looking thingy is a Wheel Jack holder that was in my 91 Nissan Truck. You place the jack into it, move the handle thingy on top and raise the jack to hold it in place.
