Hi, guys! Just got my first Mark

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself here. I picked up a '93 Nordic Blue/Aquamarine Mark today with 67k miles for $5400. Not a bad deal, especially considering it's in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. There's not a single crack or tear in the leather, and much to my amazement all of the climate control buttons are 100% intact. I don't think I've ever seen that before in an early 90s Ford!

My other car is an '88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. It's nice too and I definitely prefer its manual transmission, but the Mark is much better in every other aspect.

Well I'm off to browse the forums and see what I just got myself into. :)

Congrats on the new ride-definitely a nice find with that color combinations and condition!!! Yeah that twenty dollars will save you sooo much money in the long run on any number of parts that dealers give LOD member discounts on....

Congratulations on the mark. I think the blue color on my 93 is called Nordic Blue, so it might be the same color. So I'm looking forward to seeing pics! :D

Casey, check out http://mark8.org/lod/colors.htm and I believe you'll find your color is China Blue - Exterior Paint Code DG. I have the '93 brochure with exterior color chips and it appears the China Blue is a dead ringer for your car from your webpage. The Nordic Blue(Exterior Paint Code DF) is a much darker metallic blue as you can see on my pages...
