I am probably going to parting with my Mark in the next couple of months and after months of research, I have decided to get myself a RX-8 and have too many vehicles (running out of places to put them) At any rate I have two brand new in the box factory original HID bulbs I have had for spares. I was interested to know what you guys believe their approximate worth to be. I was considering sending them off with the car, but if they are worth I will sell separately. Thanks for your input.

True, but a lot of guys don't know about that or know how to so the factory ones can still fetch a high price.

I doubt you'll get $250 each for them, put them up starting at $1 and see what they get or sell them to people here, who could certainly use spares, like me

Back in 09 i sold a gently used one for $199. For NIB one i would list it at $249. maybe throw in priority free shipping.

Thanks for the input guys, $250 or so seems pretty good to me. I have not yet listed the Mark for sale as I am still hunting down my newest addition. When I decide to sell the car, I will offer them to the buyer for extra $$. If the buyer does not want them, I will make the bulbs available to forum users first. If no one wants them in say a two week period I will list them on Ebay. I drive very rarely at night so these light have lasted for years. I think the last time I replaced them was 03 or 04 not sure. I know I bought four bulbs at the time though and they were like $69.00. Thanks again

I raced one repeatedly on the highway that was no faster then my bone stock MK8, and the Mazda was modified (at least lowered and loud exhaust)...
I have looked at both vehicles. I like the 350/370's, but they are quite common on the road, which I am not to fond of. Although the RX8 is only about 250 horse power you have to admit that's pretty impressive for only 1.3 liters. The car is also the most forgiving I have ever driven. Not that I drive like a maniac all the time, but when you gotta maneuver, this car is unbelievable, or it could be I have been driving a sled for too long lol. The Design is also a major factor in my decision. I just think it's awesome and I don't see 40 of them every day. Yea I am giving up some performance, but it's ok. No rule says I have to unload the Mark, but I am starting to have too many vehicles. As far as MPG goes, not that concerned. I am buying it to have a bit of fun. I have a 98 ZX2 which is my commuter car. It's slow but under 60 and driving like Grand Pa I can eek out up to 37 MPG. So when I want to save gas, I drive it.
