I own a Lincoln Ls and probably like 70% of the owners everyone got a hole thru the drivers door from someone that decided to break into your car (at least NJ everyone got a hole LoL) it's getting me frustrated because the forth time in 2 years that they did that, and besides not taking anything they always break something (last time glove compartment) I'm wondering what would be the best way to stop this from happening.

(I already have an alarm, last time thebodyshop fixed my door they put some extra sheet of metal I think to reinforce it but nothing has working am I going to be forced to shave my door handle?
 
Have the shop put a cyanide impregnated plate in there. When the idiots machine through it, the dust will kill them.
 
Im willing to do whatever it takes to stop this and by the way I dont think they do it with a drill from what I can see (leaving a king cobra inside the car LoL)
 
Any pictures? I'm assuming the just use a type of punch because the door is plastic?
 
The car is actually at the body shop getting fixed but it was like a 3in diameter hole under the key hole. Plus a broken glove box
