Hot Rod Power Tour 2009

Warren to Dayton seems to be the most popular leg of the tour from what I've read online. Possibly because there are a lot of Mark VIIIs in MI and OH or possiblt no one wants to go to KY and TN! LOL

Whatever we do and whatever your following, we Lincolns must 'stick together'. It would be cool to see 20, 30 or more Lincolns in a parade from Warren to Dayton. :D
 
Ok, so if I took off the Mon, Tues, Weds after Carlisle... where would I wind up? lol

And I don't know if the MK8 will be ready for anything by then, so is the DTS a good power tour car? I'd guess they probably don't condone drinking and driving... :(
 
We better make it one of the big ones, like a Costco shopping cart or something. Do they make shopping carts with nematic tires, I'm concerned about the ride quality... :D

You could borrow one of my Marks for the Warren Michigan meet part of the tour Joe.:D

It would be neat to have 2 of my cars there.:)

What time will everyone be in Warren? I can't make the drive, but I'd like to make it to the meet.

Not a lot of details are available yet such as times and such. But if it plays out like the year I went, I'd say early afternoon would be the time to meet up. I'll find out more later on and pass it on.

Those planning to register should all meet at the registration area near the same time, noonish or earlier so once everyone is registered we can roll into the venue and park together. :D

Tuesday is Warren, MI and Wednesday we go to Dayton, OH. The caddy will be a fine touring vehicle but I'd like to see the Mark VIII. ;)
 
You wouldn't say that if you actually saw the MK8... :( it looked better with the dents... :(

So, we'd be leaving Carlisle, driving through OH to MI, so that we could turn around and go back to OH...

Well you do have the option of being in South Bend, IN on Monday. ;)

Besides, it's not like the trek thru OH will be the same as the way to MI from PA.
 
really... it's not going to be flat and full of nothing? :D

Ok, I have the Monday - Weds after Carlisle free, so assuming I can be back by 8AM Thursday I guess we're good for some Power Touring...

Oh. In 2008 they came through Springfield. I would have been really upset if you had been through here and I didn't get to meet you.
