i just got another mark viii its a 1993 it runs but barely i notice the vaccume brakes dont work to good when you have the car running and it wont rev past 4000 rpm and just feels like it has no power and it has a miss at lower idle but when you bring the rpm up the miss goes away i am not sure weree to start i replaced the coils the plugs wires and fuel filtre it has good fuel pressure so any advice would be great thanks oh and it wont idle

If you're not sure where to start....don't just start replacing things!!

Pull Codes!

Do a compression check. If that comes back bad, pull the valve covers and inspect.

If you go to that extent, a leakdown test would tell you even more. I just did such on my '93 when I replaced the plugs and wires. I have less compression than I would like to see but the leakdown test showed it all to be all blowby to the crankcase and nothing that I could tell through either the intake or exhaust valves.

But at 144,000 miles with the way I treat the car, I guess that can be expected. :D
