How do you calculate your salary?

I am in the process of changing jobs and was wondering what method is used to calculate your income. It can be done so many different ways and I keep coming up with different amounts.

For salary I would assume that you divide your yearly income by 24 to see what you pay would be,

But what about if you work hourly? 40 hour week times 52? What if you get paid 2x a month - big difference.

How does this work? I forgot...

OK ---- Hourly pay x 40 x 52 = Annual Salary

Annual Salary divided by number of pay periods in year = gross paycheck.

If you get paid every other week, the number of pay periods is 26

If you get paid twice a month (like the 1st & 15th) then the number is 24

Thanks men - this one company I met with told me something else and I had a feeling they were wrong.

I guess they forgot to pay the bill - time to get me lod space up and running - so you know the ftp address by any chance?

This system seems to work for me...Pay all your bills on the first of the month, and then lay low, then at 15th check, its fillup time for the bank and then yourself and upgrades for your toys, that should of been paid off by now doubling up and payments on the 1st month money.
