In 10 or 15 years you think the price of the car will go up?

No way it'll be known as a muscle car. And the value probably won't go up.

Keep in mind that while these cars were powerful when they were built, even just 6 years ago, that now we have the 400 hp CTS-V, 500 hp viper, 400 hp GTO, 400 and soon to be 500 hp corvettes, and 390 hp Cobras. The mark has only 280 hp. So no, it won't be remembered as a muscle car.

I'd imagine that in 10-15 years people will look at it and think "WTF is that?" as they roll into the car show all sleek and low slung. Every year there are fewer and fewer on the road. It will be harder to get parts for them as time goes on. I'd imagine the prices will be similar to what you see now depending on inflation and how heavily moded the car is.

Price will likely keep going down.....Which is good for eccentrics like us who still drive them.:)
I agree with Dave, every time I turn around there are more powerful cars (and SUVs) coming off the production line.

LOL, the Mark VII guys buy an entire car when they need parts.

RE: How much will mark VIII be worth?

I've seen several Mark VII's go for 5-7k around here though. Those of course are the few that are still in showroom condition. There's another one I see every year when the Car Craft Summer Nationals are in St. Paul that has a blower and a beautiful paintjob.

I think it's more in how well oyu maintain the car. The better it looks when your ready to sell, the more oyu will get for it.
