So, my Mark isn't used on a daily basis...I drive it at least once a week, but for the most part it sits in my garage.
It was rather warm today, and my wife and I had to drive across town - figured i'd stretch the Mark's legs a bit and run the AC. The AC (or HVAC) for that matter has never been a problem with the Mark.
I had it on 'Vent' and hit the 'Auto' button, and the AC compressor kicked on and started blowing cold air out of the floor....odd. I hit vent again, and the AC compressor turned off, and I started getting outside air out of the vent. I hit 'Auto' again, and the compressor kicked on again, and I started getting cold air out of the floor registers again. I hit defrost, and it went to defrost...and I tried all the other settings. They all worked fine.
But, if I just hit auto, it would pump the AC'd air out of the floor vents.
After about 10-15 min worth of driving, all of a sudden it switched to the AC vent registers and all was back together in the world.
Anybody had this happen...or know what was/is going on?
