I finally did my 1-2 upgrade and replaced the MLPS

I finally took my extensive collection of previously purchased parts to a highly recommended tranny dude (who happened to be employed at the local Ford dealership) and got my transmission worked on. He did the 1-2 upgrade and the small spring WAS broken. He also replaced the Shift position sensor and explained the whats and whys of everything while he did it.

I was out $120.00 in labor.

Not a bad deal to me.

Actually that is a pretty good deal.

Yeah not a bad deal at all! I have had all the parts sitting in my garage for the longest time. Not to mention a Bauman Shift Kit to boot - I have to get off my butt and do it.

I know what you mean. I have a B&M shift kit along with a sonnax upgrade kit that I need to install. Just haven't had time to get to it. Hey Stephanie where is your friend located>lol

I'm glad I'm the not the only one with parts and no time to install them. Working sucks.

If you guys wanna wait a bit, when my lift is in, all of you can come down and do it on the lift, with every tool you could imagine. Im in lehighton. Chris, thats about 80 minutes away.

Pete - that would be freakin awesome! Yeah man! Maybe I will have the front sway bar too - LOL!

Don't tease Pete! I live in Northern Kentucky but could be easily swayed for a road trip. Even if it is a 12 hour trip.
