I need a perfect mark viii

Okay maybe not so much perfect but I am looking for one that is in amazing condition and of course the lower the mileage the better. I need something a little more dependable and I have several choices and another mark is one of them. Gen I or Gen II doesn't really matter but would prefer a II. So, if your selling I might be buying, depends on the car. :)
 
The black LSC is for sale....Its a 97 and in almost immaculate condition. The only catch is its got 120K :(

My stepdad bought it about 1 1/2 ago from the second owner (who bought it with 25K on it) and he commuted about 500 miles a week.

He has since put new front brakes, and brand new tires all the way around. The Neon Ballast has been upgraded (Glitch) and the blend door was replaced once already.

I just talked to him and he wants 3,900 or best offer and its located in Magalia, about 2 hours north of Sacramento, CA.

Here are some pictures I took last Christmas...I'll try to find the thread I put up when he bought it. (Don't worry...I fixed the wheels shortly after this picture, haha.)

if you really want a perfect mark VIII may i suggest going on ebay and search a dealer out of miami florida called dolphin motors. i have no ties to these people in anyway, and i am not promoting them, i just know these guys sell some of the cleanest mark VIII's in this country, they are drop dead gorgeous in every manner.
 
Thanks for the help guys I'll do some more checking. I really like that black Mark but those miles kill me! That is about the same miles I have on my current mark. I am also looking at a Buick Regal GS believe it or not the sedan might be something I will be needing.
 
Ya I know....Technically they are not "high" for a mark, AND it doesn't show them. :) But I know that was one of your parameters, heh.
 
Good luck on your search! Just be patient!

It took me almost a year and a half to complete my search and i finally did 2 months ago.

Black on Black gen 2, 55,000 miles, moonroof, and factory air suspension.

It wasnt perfect but its about 95% there, since i am going to mod it i dont care about the little little things and i spent 5,000 instead of 15,000.

somebody let that person drive for 45,000 miles and didn't tell them their wheels were on backwards. That's just wrong.:D
 
Going to go look at it this Saturday time to make the list of the things to look for, but I had a couple questions. Air Ride and Blend Door and warning signs I can check? Or any other big things I should look for?
 
Air ride will be easy. Make sure it drops to parking heigth when you turn it off, get out, and shut the door. Make sure the Air Suspension warning isn't on and make sure the air suspension switch is ON in the trunk.

Blend door....you should have Cold A/C and Hot Heat...easy. :D

Look for faded headlights, working HID's that are White and not green or orangish, or dim. Look for buldging interior door panels. Look for wheels that are on backwards....this will be a good "tell" that they know nothing about the Marks...maybe you can deal with them a bit.
