so far no branches hit the house, at lest the big ones, one big one is blocking the road 3/4 of the way, and we still have power. it sounds like a war zone when frozen branches hit the ice on top of the snow.

wow.. those poor trees, Steve. No other damage to the house, I presume?

On the bright side, I sense a bonfire in your future.

Wow, amazing how something so dangerous and devastating can be so beautiful in pics.

No damage so far as i can tell. Lots of firewood for next season. I hope to get out around 3:30 to walk around and survey the area, if it stops raining by then. It is warming up and the ice has been crashing down.

Awesome pictures Steve! That flag is funny looking...reminds me of the moon landing, all stiff.

That video is from a surveliance camera?

From my point and shoot camera. The last big crime here was baby lindbergh kidnaping.

Point and Shoot Camera? It looked like it was on a funky swivel or something.

Wow. Looks neat but dangerous. I was just in Dallas yesterday that was hit on Tuesday with heavy rains then instantly to sub 10* temps. Screwed up the city real bad. My butt was puckering on every bridge and overpass as I hit the ice. Marks dont like ice.... more so with summer tires.
Glad I made it out without hitting anything. Several times while coasting my cars tail would slowly slide into the next lane and miss the car by a couple inches.
