Idiot warning

Ok, so I was under the impression my Mark VIII was a 1994. Turns out the title shows up in the mail and it's a 1993. The manuals in the glove-box say 1994 but conveniently enough, the dealer didn't write the year on the bill of sale.

Anyway, all that BS aside... how can I determine if my 1993 Mark VIII is a Gen 1 or 2?

1993-1996 are Gen 1, 1997-1998 are Gen 2.

That sounds kinda like my car...

I have the invoice from February 1995 for a '94 model, but manuals and the such are for the '95. A few other things too, like the factory 10 disc changer.

Check the 10th digit of your VIN.

My 95 LSC has a door sticker build date of 8/95. I have seen a 96 base model with the same 8/95 build date.
